The Frank Smith Collection was donated to UMKC Libraries by Smith’s wife, Doreen Maronde, in January 2016. The collection contains materials related to the jazz pianist’s personal and professional life. Materials include photographs; awards, newspaper clippings and other publicity; and an array of printed and handwritten music.
